[suggested translation, Marije Osnabrugge:] As such we also recognize that it is not possible to learn everything exhaustively by means of the rules, and that one should therefore make use of the life in many cases: but as it frequently happens that one cannot obtain the life at that moment when it is needed, one should be diligent to make models of all things in the course of time, {How one should attempt to model many things.} […] One should especially grab his chances with regard to the exotic things, {And which specifically.} […] and sometimes are also needed to apply to his Inventions; therefore one should obtain these in different views and situations. Take good care to apply these Masterly and not in a Childish way.
