LexArt. Words for art. The rise of a terminology (1600-1750),
ERC - AdGn°323761

You will find here a set of significant extracts of terms belonging to the artistic vocabulary (painting and graphic arts), excerpts from art theory books published in France, Germany, England and the Netherlands between 1600 and 1750. These terms are also located in three networks (lexical, linguistic and conceptual), accompanied by a bibliography and by art works quoted as models. Besides, all the studied books are available in a digital library.
